The ruling king of Song Parody, Alfred Matthew Yankovic (born on October 23, 1959 in Lynwood, California), is a musical humourist with a career spanning nearly 40 years. Sometime in 1966, a door-to-door salesperson obstructed by the Yankovic household offering either guitar or accordion lessons; accordant to Al, his parents figured that "the world needed one more accordion-playing Yankovic" (the first being polka title Frankie Yankovic, to whom Al is not related) and young Alfred acceptable his front deterrent example the day before his simple fraction birthday. As a teenager, he became a fan of Los Angeles-based radio host Dr. Al began recording his own humorous songs in his room with his accordion and mailing them to the good Doctor, who played them on the air; according to Al, Demento appreciated the novelty of a geeky juvenile person with an piano accordion thinking he was "cool".
