Neve Campbell Biography
Neve Adrienne Campbell was born in Guelph,
ON on the historic 3rd of October, 1973. Her parents Gerry Campbell (a
high school drama teacher) and Marnie Campbell (a yoga studio manager)
unfortunately got divorced when Neve was just a young'n. Neve's name
comes from her mother's maiden name and means "snow" in dutch
and probably numerous other languages as well. Neve has an older brother
Christian, and two younger half-brothers, Alex and Damian. |

Neve always had a flare for
the dramatics and it wasn't long before her talents led her to the
prestigious and "back stabbing", National Ballet of Canada.
There she performed in productions of "Phantom of the Opera,"
"The Nutcracker" and "Sleeping Beauty". Not long
after, she started to get into acting and after shooting commercials
(ex. Eaton's) she eventually landed the role of Daisy on
"Catwalk" (a Canadian drama about a band trying to make it
big), which in retrospect turned out to be the launching pad for her
super-stardom because this role led to being cast as Julia Salinger on
"Party of Five". This led to "The Craft", which led
to the mega-hit "Scream" and it's sequel, to her latest movie
"Wild Things". |
